Falcons vs. Texans: NFL Week 5 Picks & Game PredictionsCat:未分類
When the Falcons travel to Houston to take to the Texans (1:00 P.M ET, FOX) theyll be hoping to eventually find a little consistency. The Falcons are 26th in the league in points per match, despite having a great deal of offensive players. They can not seem to get the game going and Matt Ryan has not been able to throw. At home against the Titans, Ryan hit the next 4 , was sacked 4 times and dashed 12 times. The Falcons will need to do a better job protecting him from Houston.
In terms of the Texans, shielding Deshaun Watson is something theyve never really been able to do because hes come in the NFL. He takes a whole good deal of abuse, while he is a talented player. Against Carolina, he was sacked 5 times and then hurried 13 times. Watson threw for 160 yards and no death touchdowns although the ball failed to run nicely.
Watson also must quit holding the ball for so long. He knows his offensive line isnt very good yet he will carry on to the ball for longer than he should. Does this result in sacks, but hes also leaving himself vulnerable to unnecessary punishment. That is something that he needs to address until another long term injury is suffered by him as his game evolves.
This line started at Texans. There hasnt been much movement with 58 percent of their cash on Houston. Both groups have been up and down that its difficult to understand whats going to occur in this one. The total could be the play here as both groups can put up points and do not really have a means. On the other hand, both groups scored 10 points. At the moment, you really dont understand what you are getting on a weekly basis with both of these. Placing 5 points seems like a lot right now. The Falcons have the firepower.
Beneath 49 (-105) at 5Dimes
Both of these teams have been underperforming which will likely be the case here again. While they both have the firepower to put up things, things havent been clicking for either offense. I see both groups going back to fundamentals here in a near one the Texans win in your home. For all these reasons, my choice for this one is the Beneath 49.
