Lewis Hamilton says Ferrari now ‘very hard to beat’ after latest winCat:未分類
Lewis Hamilton suspects Mercedes are likely to get it”hard to beat” rejuvenated Ferrari in F1’s forthcoming races – but has backed the entire world champions to climb into the revived challenge.
Against all pre-weekend expectations in Singapore, to get a course that needs high downforce – a perceived 2019 Ferrari weakness – that the Scuderia finished second and first in the race to expand their winning streak to 3 races of Sunday – their sequence for 11 decades.

Mercedes have now suffered three successive defeats for the second time in the past six seasons.
And together with Ferrari now having discovered a breakthrough with their car on tracks which do not only require horsepower – that the SF90 strength – Hamilton is expecting a struggle that is consistent.
“I am a realist so I see the problem we are in and they’ve just come up with some sort of upgrade that’s perhaps put their car… maybe they have had a good car all year and it just was not functioning in the ideal window,” said Hamilton on Sunday night.
“Who knows, since it’s unlikely they’ve attracted a massive, massive upgrade that has brought 20-30 points [of downforce] to a thing which performance-wise is likely what you’d expect they have accepted here.
“But clearly their car works very well everywhere today so it’s going to be somewhat hard to conquer them, particularly as they’re so quick on the straights. We can not compete together on the straights right now.”
Mercedes should’pull up our socks’
Despite Ferrari run, Hamilton and Mercedes’ constant form prior to the August summer break implies that they stay firmly on track to protect their world titles.
Hamilton actually extended his title contribute over Valtteri Bottas into 65 points, while Leclerc, Ferrari runner, is 96 points adrift with 156 points to perform over the final six races.
“We’ve won before with not the ideal auto but it’s really how we provide the weekend.
“At this time they are delivering better in the operations region. I did enough at the race at the very first stint to emerge and direct but the procedures that are whole did not do the job and it should do. So we have only got to re-huddle, reunite with them, work hard and move forwards.”
The world champion added:”Of course it has got tighter and tighter as the year has gone , we operate on that, but at exactly the identical time we have only got to do a better job.
“We were doing such a excellent job at the start of the year plus we have this difference, but the difference could go. I’m under no illusions, my gap at the championship – it’s not won.
“We have got to pull up our socks. Together we can perform. But we win and lose as a group and all of us do not feel great right now.”
