Italy make 11 changes for final Rugby World Cup warm-up against EnglandCat:未分類
Italy head coach Conor O’Shea has named a much-changed side to face England in their Rugby World Cup warm-up match.
O’Shea has made 11 changes to the side that dropped last weekend.
Gloucester scrum-half Callum Braley is set to get his first cap if they face England at St James’ Park on Saturday, live on Sky Sports.
Dean Budd will ruler Italy from Newcastle and the Benetton lock believes their competitors this weekend can go all the way in Japan.
“In our view they are going to be in the final,” he said. “They are among the greatest teams physically, the way they play with the game – they seem like quite a fluid and physical group.”
When asked that England players were the most threatening to face, Budd added:”I think [Billy] Vunipola is likely to number one.
“The gain line he will make for the England boys, just matching him and stopping him from going forward will be huge in order that they can’t get front ball.
“If they could set those backs alight then they’re extremely dangerous.”
