Turkish champions have been joined by brighton striker Florin Andone to a loan for an undisclosed fee. The Seagulls have a January recall choice as a portion of the loan arrangement for the international. Andone joined Albion having made 69 appearances across two seasons. Brighton head coach Graham Potter said:”We believe that this loan to Galatasaray gives Florin the opportunity to go and play frequently, which he’s found challenging here. “He also has the prospect of Champions League football. We want Florin nicely for the season ahead, we have the option of a recall in January and we will closely monitor his progress.” Andone scored his first goals for Brighton before scoring from the fixture against the Terriers in March, in Crystal Palace at December and the wins over Huddersfield Town. Romania has capped the 26-year-old 26 times and is expected to link up with his squad for qualifiers against Malta and Spain this week. Turkish giants Galatasaray are active this summer, with signed former Manchester United and Chelsea striker Radamel Falcao. They have also experienced a loan bid Sky Sports News understands. Potter explained the development of kids Aaron Connolly and Steven Alzate because members of the first-team team have allowed a squad reshuffle that sees Jurgen and Andone Locadia. Potter added:”We are comfortable with all our attacking options concerning the players already here, those we’ve recruited, and about the back of the progress made by the Aaron Connolly and Steven Alzate. “Both players have earned their opportunity, and are demonstrating their capability at this level. Aaron is a fantastic addition alongside Glenn Murray and Neal Maupay. “Steven also offers an extra attacking option from broad positions, playing just off a striker and in midfield – alongside the likes of Leandro Trossard, Pascal Gross, Solly March, Alireza Jakhanbaksh, also Yves Bissouma and Jose Izquierdo, once they are back to full fitness.”
