Kraigg Brathwaite was reported for a suspected illegal bowling action following the West Indies’ 2-0 Test series defeat India.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) state Brathwaite was reported after the second test against India, that ended a week.
Under ICC rules, Brathwaite might have to undergo testing on his actions to determine if it should be declared illegal.
Brathwaite has until September 14 before a decision is made following the examinations, and he can bowl in international cricket.
Opening batsman Brathwaite was reported for a suspect activity in August 2017 throughout their tour of England, but was later removed after an independent review.
The right-arm offbreak, that made his test debut bowled nine overs taking one wicket.
Brathwaite signed because of their final three matches of their County Championship Division Two season for Glamorgan.
West Indies’ international fixture is from Afghanistan at a T20 on November 5.
